मातृतीर्थं च तत्रैव यत्र सनातस्य भारत परजा विवर्धते राजन्न अनन्तां चाश्नुते शरियम ॥ ३-८१-४७ ॥
'In that tirtha lies another sacred spot known as Matri. One who bathes in the Matri tirtha begets a bountiful progeny and, O king, attains immense prosperity.' ॥ 3-81-47 ॥
