कपिला तीर्थम आसाद्य बरह्म चारी समाहितः तत्र सनात्वार्चयित्वा च दैवतानि पितॄंस तथा कपिलानां सहस्रस्य फलं विन्दति मानवः ॥ ३-८१-३८ ॥
'Embracing the Brahmacharya way of life and with a focused mind, one should next journey to the tirtha known as Kapila. By bathing there and worshipping both one's Pitris and the deities, a person attains the merit of giving away a thousand Kapila kine.' ॥ 3-81-38 ॥
