तत्राभिषेकं यः कुर्यात पितृदेवार्चने रतः अश्वमेधं दशगुणं परवदन्ति मनीषिणः ॥ ३-८०-४८ ॥

sanskrit

'The person who, devoted to the worship of the gods and the Pitris, bathes in this tirtha, is said by the wise to attain merit equal to ten Ashvamedha sacrifices.' ॥ 3-80-48 ॥

english translation

tatrAbhiSekaM yaH kuryAta pitRdevArcane rataH azvamedhaM dazaguNaM paravadanti manISiNaH ॥ 3-80-48 ॥
