'While residing there, the radiant Bhishma offered his oblations to the Pitris, the gods, and the Rishis, adhering to the rites prescribed in the scriptures.' ।। 3-80-14 ।।

sa pitRRMsa tarpayAma Asa devAMza ca paramadyutiH RSIMza ca tòSayAma Asa vidhidRSTena karmaNA || 3-80-14 ||
