ये चेदं कथयिष्यन्ति नलस्य चरितं महत शरॊष्यन्ति चाप्य अभीक्ष्णं वै नालक्ष्मीस तान भजिष्यति अर्थास तस्यॊपपत्स्यन्ते धन्यतां च गमिष्यति ।। ३-७८-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'Those who repeatedly recite this noble history of Nala and those who listen to it will be untouched by adversity. He who hears this ancient and remarkable tale will see all his endeavors met with success.' ।। 3-78-12 ।।

english translation

ye cedaM kathayiSyanti nalasya caritaM mahata zaròSyanti cApya abhIkSNaM vai nAlakSmIsa tAna bhajiSyati arthAsa tasyòpapatsyante dhanyatAM ca gamiSyati || 3-78-12 ||
