ततः स तवरमाणस तु पटे निपतिते तदा गरहीष्यामीति तं राजा नलम आह महामनाः ॥ ३-७०-३ ॥

sanskrit

'As soon as his garment fell, the high-minded monarch promptly said to Nala, "I shall recover it without delay."' ॥ 3-70-3 ॥

english translation

tataH sa tavaramANasa tu paTe nipatite tadA garahISyAmIti taM rAjA nalama Aha mahAmanAH ॥ 3-70-3 ॥
