हयांस तत्र विनिक्षिप्य सूतॊ रथवरं च तम इन्द्रसेनां च तां कन्याम इन्द्रसेनं च बालकम ॥ ३-५७-२१ ॥
'Upon arriving, he entrusted the boy Indrasena and the girl Indrasena, along with the finest chariot and horses, to their care.' ॥ 3-57-21 ॥

आमन्त्र्य भीमं राजानम आर्तः शॊचन नलं नृपम अटमानस ततॊ ऽयॊध्यां जगाम नगरीं तदा ॥ ३-५७-२२ ॥
'With a heavy heart, grieving for Nala, the charioteer bid farewell to Bhima. After wandering for a while, he reached the city of Ayodhya.' ॥ 3-57-22 ॥

ऋतुपर्णं स राजानम उपतस्थे सुदुःखितः भृतिं चॊपययौ तस्य सारथ्येन महीपते ॥ ३-५७-२३ ॥
'There, with a heavy heart, he presented himself before King Rituparna and entered the king's service as a charioteer.' ॥ 3-57-23 ॥
