ईजे चाप्य अश्वमेधेन ययातिर इव नाहुषः अन्यैश च करतुभिर धीमान बहुभिश चाप्तदक्षिणैः ॥ ३-५४-३६ ॥
'And like Yayati, the son of Nahusha, that wise king performed the horse sacrifice along with many other rituals, generously bestowing gifts upon the Brahmanas.' ॥ 3-54-36 ॥
