दहेयं येन संग्रामे दानवान राक्षसांस तथा भूतानि च पिशाचांश च गन्धर्वान अथ पन्नगान ॥ ३-४१-९ ॥
'That weapon, by whose grace, O god of gods, I may secure victory in the fierce conflict against Karna, Bhishma, Kripa, and Drona—grant me the power to vanquish the Danavas, Rakshasas, malevolent spirits, Pisachas, Gandharvas, and Nagas in battle.' ॥ 3-41-9 ॥
