कामं पूर्वं धनं मध्ये जघन्ये धर्मम आचरेत वयस्य अनुचरेद एवम एष शास्त्रकृतॊ विधिः ॥ ३-३४-४० ॥
'The scriptures also prescribe that one should pursue pleasure in the early part of life, seek wealth in the middle, and focus on virtue in the later years.' ॥ 3-34-40 ॥
