नीतिं बृहस्पतिप्रॊक्तां भरातॄन मे ऽगराहयत पुरा तेषां सांकथ्यम अश्रौषम अहम एतत तदा गृहे ॥ ३-३३-५७ ॥
'Indeed, these instructions on duty, spoken by Vrihaspati himself, were first imparted to my brothers. It was from them that I later heard these teachings while at my father’s house.' ॥ 3-33-57 ॥
