तथैव हठ बुद्धिर यः शक्तः कर्मण्य अकर्मकृत आसीत नचिरं जीवेद अनाथ इव दुर्बलः ।। ३-३३-१३ ।।

sanskrit

'Similarly, one who relies solely on chance and remains inactive despite being capable of action will not endure long, as his life is marked by weakness and helplessness.' ।। 3-33-13 ।।

english translation

tathaiva haTha buddhira yaH zaktaH karmaNya akarmakRta AsIta naciraM jIveda anAtha iva durbalaH || 3-33-13 ||
