कर्मणाम उत पुण्यानां पापानां च फलॊदयः परभवश चाप्ययश चैव देव गुह्यानि भामिनि ॥ ३-३२-३३ ॥
'O beautiful one, the fruitlessness of virtuous acts prescribed in the Vedas, as well as the nature of transgressions, and the origins and dissolution of actions, remain mysterious even to the gods.' ॥ 3-32-33 ॥
