यथा काष्ठेन वा काष्टम अश्मानं चाश्मना पुनः अयसा चाप्य अयश छिन्द्यान निर्विचेष्टम अचेतनम ॥ ३-३१-३४ ॥
'And, O Yudhishthira, the Self-created Grandsire, the Almighty God, through His divine illusion, causes creatures to harm one another, much like using wood to break wood, stone to break stone, or iron to cut iron.' ॥ 3-31-34 ॥
