तवां चेद वयसनम अभ्यागाद इदं भारत दुःसहम यत तवं नार्हसि नापीमे भरातरस ते महौजसः ।। ३-३१-३ ।।

sanskrit

'If this were not the case, O Bharata, such an unbearable calamity would never have befallen you and your illustrious brothers.' ।। 3-31-3 ।।

english translation

tavAM ceda vayasanama abhyAgAda idaM bhArata duHsahama yata tavaM nArhasi nApIme bharAtarasa te mahaujasaH || 3-31-3 ||
