वैद्युतॊ जाठरश चागिर ऐन्धनस तेजसां पतिः धर्मध्वजॊ वेद कर्ता वेदाङ्गॊ वेद वाहनः ॥ ३-३-२१ ॥
'The sun is also known as Vaidyuta, Jāṭhara, Āgni, Tejasāṁ Pati, Dharmadhvaja, Veda Karta, Vedaṅga, and Veda Vāhana, reflecting its roles as a deity of lightning, digestion, fire, the lord of light, the banner of righteousness, the creator of the Vedas, and the bearer of Vedic knowledge.' ॥ 3-3-21 ॥
