परस्थितं मानुयान्तीमे बराह्मणा वेदपारगाः न चास्मि पालने शक्तॊ बहुदुःखसमन्वितः ॥ ३-३-२ ॥
'The Brahmanas, who are well-versed in the Vedas, are following me as I depart for the forest. Stricken by numerous hardships, I find myself unable to support them.' ॥ 3-3-2 ॥
