[य] पराणॊ वै यज्ञियं साम मनॊ वै यज्ञियं यजुः वाग एका वृश्चते यज्ञं तां यज्ञॊ नातिवर्तते ।। ३-२९७-३५ ।।

sanskrit

'Yudhishthira answered: "Breath (life) is the Sama of the sacrifice; the mind is the Yajus of the sacrifice; speech alone glorifies the sacrifice; and the sacrifice cannot do without speech."' ।। 3-297-35 ।।

english translation

[ya] parANò vai yajJiyaM sAma manò vai yajJiyaM yajuH vAga ekA vRzcate yajJaM tAM yajJò nAtivartate || 3-297-35 ||
