[य] सवाध्याय एषां देवत्वं तप एषां सताम इव मरणं मानुषॊ भावः परिवादॊ ऽसताम इव ॥ ३-२९७-३१ ॥

'Yudhishthira answered: "The study of the Vedas constitutes their divinity; their asceticism is the conduct befitting the virtuous; their mortality is their human condition; and slander is their impious behavior."' ।। 3-297-31 ।।
