उत्कृत्य तु परदास्यामि कुण्डले कवचं च ते निकृत्तेषु च गात्रेषु न मे बीभत्सता भवेत ॥ ३-२९४-३० ॥
'In return, I shall give you my mail and earrings, cutting them from my own body. But I ask this one boon in return—let my body, thus wounded, not become disfigured or unsightly.' ॥ 3-294-30 ॥
