मञ्जूषा तव अश्वनद्याः सा ययौ चर्मण्वतीं नदीम चर्मण्वत्याश च यमुनां ततॊ गङ्गां जगाम अह ॥ ३-२९२-२५ ॥

sanskrit

'Meanwhile, the basket drifted from the river Aswa to the Charmanwati, from there to the Yamuna, and at last to the sacred Ganga.' ॥ 3-292-25 ॥

english translation

maJjUSA tava azvanadyAH sA yayau carmaNvatIM nadIma carmaNvatyAza ca yamunAM tatò gaGgAM jagAma aha ॥ 3-292-25 ॥
