काले मृदुर यॊ भवति काले भवति दारुणः स वै सुखम अवाप्नॊति लॊके ऽमुष्मिन्न इहैव च ।। ३-२९-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'Instead, one should exercise strength and grant forgiveness at the appropriate times. He who knows when to be forgiving and when to be strict and powerful will achieve happiness both in this world and the next.' ।। 3-29-23 ।।

english translation

kAle mRdura yò bhavati kAle bhavati dAruNaH sa vai sukhama avApnòti lòke 'muSminna ihaiva ca || 3-29-23 ||
