एवं तत्राश्रमे तेषां तदा निवसतां सताम कालस तपस्यतां कश चिद अतिचक्राम अभारत ॥ ३-२७९-२२ ॥
'And thus, O Bharata, living in the asylum of those pious dwellers of the forest, they continued for some time to practise ascetic austerities.' ॥ 3-279-22 ॥
