नान्यस्मिन पुरुषे सन्ति ये सत्यवति वै गुणाः परदानम एव तस्मान मे रॊचते दुहितुस तव ॥ ३-२७८-२९ ॥

sanskrit

'In no other person are found the virtues that dwell in Satyavān. Therefore, the bestowal of thy daughter upon him is approved by me!' ॥ 3-278-29 ॥

english translation

nAnyasmina puruSe santi ye satyavati vai guNAH paradAnama eva tasmAna me ròcate duhitusa tava ॥ 3-278-29 ॥
