[मार्क] ततस तत्रैव रामस्य समासीनस्य तैः सह समाजग्मुः कपिश्रेष्ठाः सुग्रीववचनात तदा ॥ ३-२६७-१ ॥
'Markandeya said, "It was on the very peak of that hill, where Rama sat with the foremost of the monkeys, that the great monkey chiefs, at Sugriva's command, began to gather in large numbers."' ॥ 3-267-1 ॥
english translation
वृतः कॊटिसहस्रेण वानराणां तरस्विनाम शवशुरॊ वालिनः शरीमान सुषेणॊ रामम अभ्ययात ॥ ३-२६७-२ ॥
'Accompanied by hundreds of thousands of valiant monkeys, the illustrious Suśeṇa, the son-in-law of Vāli, approached Rama.' ॥ 3-267-2 ॥
english translation
कॊटीशतवृतौ चापि गजॊ गवय एव च वानरेन्द्रौ महावीर्यौ पृथक्पृथग अदृश्यताम ॥ ३-२६७-३ ॥
'The illustrious Suśeṇa, the father-in-law of Vāli, arrived before Rama, accompanied by countless active monkeys numbering in the thousands of crores.' ॥ 3-267-3 ॥
english translation
षष्टिकॊटिसहस्राणि परकर्षन परत्यदृश्यत गॊलाङ्गूलॊ महाराज गवाक्षॊ भीमदर्शनः ॥ ३-२६७-४ ॥
'And, O king, Gavakshya, of fearsome appearance and endowed with a bovine tail, appeared there, having gathered sixty thousand crores of monkeys.' ॥ 3-267-4 ॥

गन्धमादनवासी तु परथितॊ गन्धमादनः कॊटीसहस्रम उग्राणां हरीणां समकर्षत ॥ ३-२६७-५ ॥
'And the renowned Gandhamādana, residing on the mountain of the same name, gathered a hundred thousand crores of mighty monkeys.' ॥ 3-267-5 ॥
