अपेत्य राष्ट्राद वसतां तु तेषाम; ऋषिः पुराणॊ ऽतिथिर आजगाम तम आश्रमं तीव्रसमृद्धतेजा; मार्कण्डेयः शरीमतां पाण्डवानाम ।। ३-२६-४ ।।

sanskrit

'To the dwelling of the accomplished Pandavas, who were living in the forest after losing their kingdom, came the venerable sage Markandeya, a guest endowed with immense and profound energy.' ।। 3-26-4 ।।

english translation

apetya rASTrAda vasatAM tu teSAma; RSiH purANò 'tithira AjagAma tama AzramaM tIvrasamRddhatejA; mArkaNDeyaH zarImatAM pANDavAnAma || 3-26-4 ||
