ईशानेन तथा सख्यं पुत्रं च नलकूबरम राजधानी निवेशं च लङ्कां रक्षॊगणान्विताम ।। ३-२५८-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'He was granted the guardianship of one of the cardinal directions, the friendship of Isana, and a son named Nalakuvera. Additionally, he was bestowed with Lanka as his capital, a city guarded by hosts of Rakshasas, as well as the Pushpaka chariot, capable of traveling anywhere at the will of its rider. He was also granted the kingship of the Yakshas and sovereignty over all other sovereigns.' ।। 3-258-16 ।।

IzAnena tathA sakhyaM putraM ca nalakUbarama rAjadhAnI nivezaM ca laGkAM rakSògaNAnvitAma || 3-258-16 ||
