सेना जीवैश च कौरव्य तथा विषयवासिभिः अज्ञातैर यदि वा जञातैः कर्तव्यं नृपतेः परियम ॥ ३-२३८-३९ ॥
'O son of the Kuru race, those who dwell in the king's realm, especially those who follow the profession of arms, must always act in accordance with the king's will, whether they are known to him or not.' ॥ 3-238-39 ॥
