एवं दश दिशः सर्वास तिर्यग ऊर्ध्वं च भारत नादयाम आसुर असुरास ते चापि निहता मया ॥ ३-२३-८ ॥
'Thus, O Bharata, the Asuras continued to shout from every direction—above and across all ten quarters. Those hidden in the skies and invisible to the eye were all struck down by my diverse arrows, empowered by celestial weapons and mantras.' ॥ 3-23-8 ॥
