तेषां देहान विनिर्भिद्य शरास ते निशितास तदा निष्पतन्तॊ अदृश्यन्त नगेभ्य इव पन्नगाः ॥ ३-२२१-४५ ॥

sanskrit

'And those sharp arrows, passing through their bodies, fell to the ground, resembling serpents tumbling down the sides of a hill.' ॥ 3-221-45 ॥

english translation

teSAM dehAna vinirbhidya zarAsa te nizitAsa tadA niSpatantò adRzyanta nagebhya iva pannagAH ॥ 3-221-45 ॥
