दहन मृतानि भूतानि तस्याग्निर भरतॊ ऽभवत अग्निष्टॊमे च नियतः करतुश्रेष्ठॊ भरस्य तु ।। ३-२१२-६ ।।

sanskrit

'Agni destroyed the mortal beings, becoming the fire of the Bharatas. He was steadfast in the Agnishtoma sacrifice, the supreme ritual of Bharata.' ।। 3-212-6 ।।

english translation

dahana mRtAni bhUtAni tasyAgnira bharatò 'bhavata agniSTòme ca niyataH karatuzreSThò bharasya tu || 3-212-6 ||
