परवृत्त चक्षुर जातॊ ऽसमि संपश्य तपसॊ बलम यदर्थम उक्तॊ ऽसि तया गच्छस्व मिथिलाम इति ॥ ३-२०५-२ ॥

sanskrit

'I am born with the eye of enlightenment/wisdom - behold the power of tapas (spiritual austerity)! For this purpose you were told by her, 'Go to Mithila.'' ॥ 3-205-2 ॥

english translation

paravRtta cakSura jAtò 'sami saMpazya tapasò balama yadarthama uktò 'si tayA gacchasva mithilAma iti ॥ 3-205-2 ॥
