शब्दः सपर्शश च रूपं च तेजसॊ ऽथ गुणास तरयः शब्दः सपर्शश च वायौ तु शब्द आकाश एव च ॥ ३-२०२-७ ॥
'Sound, touch, and form are the three qualities of tejas (fire/light), Sound and touch are in vayu (air), while sound alone exists in akasha (space/ether).' ॥ 3-202-7 ॥
