मानसं शमयेत तस्माज जञानेनागिम इवाम्बुना परशान्ते मानसे दुःखे शारीरम उपशाम्यति ।। ३-२-२५ ।।

sanskrit

'Conversely, just as water extinguishes fire, true knowledge soothes mental unrest. When the mind finds ease, the body finds relief as well.' ।। 3-2-25 ।।

english translation

mAnasaM zamayeta tasmAja jaJAnenAgima ivAmbunA parazAnte mAnase duHkhe zArIrama upazAmyati || 3-2-25 ||
