कृषिगॊरक्ष्य वाणिज्यम इह लॊकस्य जीवनम दण्डनीतिस तरयी विद्या तेन लॊका भवन्त्य उत ॥ ३-१९८-२३ ॥

'In this world, there are three principal professions: agriculture, rearing of cattle, and trade. As regards the other world, the three Vedas, knowledge, and the science of morals are efficacious.' ॥ 3-198-23 ॥

kRSigòrakSya vANijyama iha lòkasya jIvanama daNDanItisa tarayI vidyA tena lòkA bhavantya uta ॥ 3-198-23 ॥
