देवदानव यक्षाणां सर्पगन्धर्वरक्षसाम अवध्यॊ ऽहं भवेयं वै वर एष वृतॊ मया ॥ ३-१९५-३ ॥

'And the boon he sought from Lord Prajapati was in these words: 'Let no one among the gods, the Danavas, the Rakshasas, the serpents, the Gandharvas, and the Yakshas be capable of slaying me.'' ॥ 3-195-3 ॥

devadAnava yakSANAM sarpagandharvarakSasAma avadhyò 'haM bhaveyaM vai vara eSa vRtò mayA ॥ 3-195-3 ॥
