अथ कस्य चित कालस्य तस्यां कुमारास तरयस तस्य राज्ञः संबभूवुः शलॊ दलॊ बलश चेति ततस तेषां जयेष्ठं शलं समये पिता राज्ये ऽभिषिच्य तपसि धृतात्मा वनं जगाम ।। ३-१९०-४३ ।।

sanskrit

'After some time, the king begot three sons by her, named Sala, Dala, and Vala. Later, the father, installing the eldest of them on the throne and dedicating himself to asceticism, retired into the forest.' ।। 3-190-43 ।।

english translation

atha kasya cita kAlasya tasyAM kumArAsa tarayasa tasya rAjJaH saMbabhUvuH zalò dalò balaza ceti tatasa teSAM jayeSThaM zalaM samaye pitA rAjye 'bhiSicya tapasi dhRtAtmA vanaM jagAma || 3-190-43 ||
