अरक्षितारॊ लुब्धाश च मानाहंकार दर्पिताः केवलं दण्डरुचयॊ भविष्यन्ति युगक्षये ॥ ३-१८८-३३ ॥
'Towards the end of such an age, the Kshatriyas will become a scourge upon the earth. Consumed by greed, and swollen with pride and vanity, they will abandon their duty to protect their subjects. Instead, they will find satisfaction solely in meting out punishment.' ॥ 3-188-33 ॥
