कषीणे युगे महाराज तरुणा वृद्धशीलिनः तरुणानां च यच छीलं तद वृद्धेषु परजायते ॥ ३-१८६-५४ ॥

sanskrit

'And, O King, when the lifespan of men becomes so short, more youths exhibit the characteristics of the aged; and all the traits seen in youth are observed in the old.' ॥ 3-186-54 ॥

english translation

kaSINe yuge mahArAja taruNA vRddhazIlinaH taruNAnAM ca yaca chIlaM tada vRddheSu parajAyate ॥ 3-186-54 ॥
