अल्पावशिष्टे तु तदा युगान्ते भरतर्षभ सहस्रान्ते नराः सर्वे परायशॊ ऽनृतवादिनः ॥ ३-१८६-२४ ॥

'O bull of the Bharata race, towards the end of the final period of one thousand years, when the cycle is nearing completion, men generally become prone to falsehood in speech.' ॥ 3-186-24 ॥
