सहस्रम एकं वर्षाणां ततः कलियुगं समृतम तस्य वर्षशतं संध्या संध्यांशश च ततः परम संध्यासंध्यांशयॊस तुल्यं परमाणम उपधारय ॥ ३-१८६-२१ ॥
'The next Yuga, known as Kali, is said to last one thousand years, with its dawn and dusk each spanning one hundred years. Know, O king, that the duration of the dawn is equal to that of the dusk in each Yuga.' ॥ 3-186-21 ॥
