तं चापि हिंसितं तात मुनिं मूलफलाशिनम शरुत्वा दृष्ट्वाच ते तत्र बभूवुर दीनमानसाः ॥ ३-१८२-७ ॥

sanskrit

'On hearing the account, O my son, and seeing the body of the Muni who had lived on fruits and roots, they were deeply distressed in mind.' ॥ 3-182-7 ॥

english translation

taM cApi hiMsitaM tAta muniM mUlaphalAzinama zarutvA dRSTvAca te tatra babhUvura dInamAnasAH ॥ 3-182-7 ॥
