ते तु तत सर्वम अखिलम आख्यायास्मै यथातथम नापश्यंस तम ऋषिं तत्र गतासुं ते समागताः अन्वेषमाणाः सव्रीडाः सवप्नवद गतमानसाः ।। ३-१८२-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'They recounted everything to him as it had occurred, and then returned to the place. However, they could not find the body of the deceased sage where they had left it. After searching in vain, they returned, ashamed and bewildered, their minds clouded, as though they had been in a dream.' ।। 3-182-12 ।।

english translation

te tu tata sarvama akhilama AkhyAyAsmai yathAtathama nApazyaMsa tama RSiM tatra gatAsuM te samAgatAH anveSamANAH savrIDAH savapnavada gatamAnasAH || 3-182-12 ||
