कामक्रॊधाभिभूतास ते माया वयाजॊपजीविनः लॊभमॊहाभिभूताश च तयक्ता देवैस ततॊ नराः ॥ ३-१८१-१७ ॥
'Overcome by desire and anger, living by illusion and deceit, they were consumed by greed and delusion. Thus, forsaken by the gods, those men fell.' ॥ 3-181-17 ॥
