इदम आर्षं परमाणं च ये यजामह इत्य अपि तस्माच छीलं परधानेष्टं विदुर ये तत्त्वदर्शिनः ॥ ३-१७७-२८ ॥
'This is the authority of the sages and [the statement] 'we worship' as well. Therefore, those who are seers of truth know that moral conduct is considered supreme/foremost.' ॥ 3-177-28 ॥
