नागायुत समप्राणः सिंहस्कन्धॊ महाभुजः गृहीतॊ वयजहात सत्त्वं वरदानेन मॊहितः ॥ ३-१७५-२० ॥

sanskrit

'That mighty warrior, with arms like a lion and shoulders broad as the mountains, possessed the strength of ten thousand elephants, yet, seized by the snake and overpowered by the serpent’s boon, he lost all his strength.' ॥ 3-175-20 ॥

english translation

nAgAyuta samaprANaH siMhaskandhò mahAbhujaH gRhItò vayajahAta sattvaM varadAnena mòhitaH ॥ 3-175-20 ॥
