ते दुर्ग वासं बहुधा निरुष्य; वयतीत्य कैलासम अचिन्त्यरूपम आसेदुर अत्यर्थ मनॊरमं वै; तम आश्रमाग्र्यं वृषपर्वणस ते ॥ ३-१७४-६ ॥
'After dwelling in various inaccessible places and crossing the inconceivably grand Kailasa, they arrived at the magnificent and supremely beautiful hermitage of Vṛṣapārva.' ॥ 3-174-6 ॥
english translation
समेत्य राज्ञा वृषपर्वणस ते; परत्यर्चितास तेन च वीतमॊहाः शशंसिरे विस्तरशः परवासं; शिवं यथावद वृषपर्वणस ते ॥ ३-१७४-७ ॥
'Upon meeting King Vṛṣapārva and being warmly received by him, they were freed from their despair. They then narrated in detail to Vṛṣapārva the story of their sojourn in the mountains.' ॥ 3-174-7 ॥

सुखॊषितास तत्र त एकरात्रं; पुण्याश्रमे देवमहर्षिजुष्टे अभ्याययुस ते बदरीं विशालां; सुखेन वीराः पुनर एव वासम ॥ ३-१७४-८ ॥
'After spending a pleasant night in his sacred abode, frequented by gods and great sages, the mighty warriors proceeded with ease towards the vast jujube tree called Visala and settled there.' ॥ 3-174-8 ॥
english translation
ऊषुस ततस तत्र महानुभावा; नारायण सथानगता नराग्र्याः कुबेर कान्तां नलिनीं विशॊकाः; संपश्यमानाः सुरसिद्धजुष्टाम ॥ ३-१७४-९ ॥
'Then, all those noble men, having reached the abode of Narayana, lived there in peace, free from sorrow, as they beheld Kubera's beloved lake, frequented by gods and siddhas.' ॥ 3-174-9 ॥

तां चाथ दृष्ट्वा नलिनीं विशॊकाः; पाण्डॊः सुताः सर्वनरप्रवीराः ते रेमिरे नन्दनवासम एत्य; दविजर्षयॊ वीतभया यथैव ॥ ३-१७४-१० ॥
'Upon seeing that lake, the foremost of men, the sons of Pandu, traversed the place, free from all sorrow, just as pure Brahmana rishis do when they attain a dwelling in the Nandana gardens.' ॥ 3-174-10 ॥
