[य] दिष्ट्या धनंजयास्त्राणि तवया पराप्तानि भारत दिष्ट्या चाराधितॊ राजा देवानाम ईश्वरः परभुः ॥ ३-१७१-११ ॥
'Yudhishthira said, "O Dhananjaya, by fortune, the weapons have been granted to you; by fortune, it is that the Lord of the immortals has been honored by you."' ॥ 3-171-11 ॥
english translation
दिष्ट्या च भगवान सथाणुर देव्या सह परंतप साक्षाद दृष्टः सुयुद्धेन तॊषितश च तवयानघ ॥ ३-१७१-१२ ॥
'O repressor of foes, by fortune it is that the divine Sthanu, along with the goddess, became manifest unto you and was gratified by you in battle, O sinless one.' ॥ 3-171-12 ॥
english translation
दिष्ट्या च लॊकपालैस तवं समेतस्ल भरतर्षभ दिष्ट्या वर्धामहे सर्वे दिष्ट्यासि पुनरागतः ॥ ३-१७१-१३ ॥
'By fortune it is that you have encountered the Lokapalas, O best of the Bharatas.' ॥ 3-171-13 ॥
english translation
अद्य कृत्स्नाम इमां देवीं विजितां पुरमालिनीम मन्ये च धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्रान अपि वशीकृतान ॥ ३-१७१-१४ ॥
'O Partha, by fortune, we have prospered, and by fortune, you have returned. Today, I consider the entire earth, adorned with cities, as already conquered, and the sons of Dhritarashtra as already subdued.' ॥ 3-171-14 ॥
english translation
तानि तव इच्छामि ते दरष्टुं दिव्यान्य अस्त्राणि भारत यैस तथा वीर्यवन्तस ते निवातकवचा हता ॥ ३-१७१-१५ ॥
'Now, O Bharata, I am eager to behold those celestial weapons with which you had slain the mighty Nivata-Kavachas.' ॥ 3-171-15 ॥
