ते वध्यमाना दैतेयाः पुरम आस्थाय तत पुनः खम उत्पेतुः सनगरा मायाम आस्थाय दानवीम ।। ३-१७०-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'Hard-pressed by my assault, the offspring of Diti sought refuge within their city. Then, invoking the illusions of the Danavas, they ascended to the firmament along with the city itself.' ।। 3-170-21 ।।

english translation

te vadhyamAnA daiteyAH purama AsthAya tata punaH khama utpetuH sanagarA mAyAma AsthAya dAnavIma || 3-170-21 ||
