ते वध्यमाना दैतेयाः पुरम आस्थाय तत पुनः खम उत्पेतुः सनगरा मायाम आस्थाय दानवीम ॥ ३-१७०-२१ ॥

sanskrit

'Hard-pressed by my assault, the offspring of Diti sought refuge within their city. Then, invoking the illusions of the Danavas, they ascended to the firmament along with the city itself.' ॥ 3-170-21 ॥

english translation

te vadhyamAnA daiteyAH purama AsthAya tata punaH khama utpetuH sanagarA mAyAma AsthAya dAnavIma ॥ 3-170-21 ॥
