[वै] यथागतं गते शक्रे भरातृभिः सह संगतः कृष्णया चैव बीभत्सुर धर्मपुत्रम अपूजयत ॥ ३-१६३-१ ॥
'Vaiśampāyana continued: "When Śakra returned to his abode, Vibhatsu, reunited with his brothers and Krishna, offered reverent homage to the son of Dharma."' ॥ 3-163-1 ॥
english translation
अभिवादयमानं तु मूर्ध्न्य उपाघ्राय पाण्डवम हर्षगद्गदया वाचा परहृष्टॊ ऽरजुनम अब्रवीत ॥ ३-१६३-२ ॥
'As Arjuna bowed in reverence, the Pandava (Yudhishthira) embraced him, affectionately smelling his head. Overwhelmed with joy and with a voice choked with emotion, he addressed Arjuna.' ॥ 3-163-2 ॥
english translation
कथम अर्जुन कालॊ ऽयं सवर्गे वयतिगतस तव कथं चास्त्राण्य अवाप्तानि देवराजश च तॊषितः ॥ ३-१६३-३ ॥
'O Arjuna, how did you spend this time in the heavens? How did you acquire the celestial weapons, and how did you earn the favor of the lord of the celestials?' ॥ 3-163-3 ॥
english translation
सम्यग वा ते गृहीतानि कच चिद अस्त्राणि भारत कच चित सुराधिपः परीतॊ रुद्रश चास्त्राण्य अदात तव ॥ ३-१६३-४ ॥
'O Pāṇḍava, have you successfully secured the celestial weapons? Did the lord of the celestials and Rudra graciously bestow their divine weapons upon you?' ॥ 3-163-4 ॥

यथादृष्टश च ते शक्रॊ भगवान वा पिनाक धृक यथा चास्त्राण्य अवाप्तानि यथा चाराधितश च ते ॥ ३-१६३-५ ॥
'How did you behold the divine Śakra and the wielder of Pināka? And how did you acquire the celestial weapons?' ॥ 3-163-5 ॥
